Main Scriptures: Acts 7:21-22

And when he was cast out, Pharaoh’s daughter took him up and nourished him for her own son. And Moses was learned in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and in deeds. (Acts 7:21-22). Do you want to be mighty in words as a husband? Do you want to be mighty in deeds? Do you want to do great and mighty works as a husband? Do you want your wife and children and even the world to see you as a husband who is mighty? Do you want to be a husband who is graceful in words towards your flock? I know that you desire to be mighty in words and in deeds. But you must do what a fellow husband like you did. He learned all the wisdom of the people. This means that your wife and children are persons that could be studied. You can study your wife. You can also study your children. You can read all about the will, plan and purpose of God for your wife and children in the Bible. There are other anointed literatures and audio materials that would reveal what you need to know about your flock. Moses learned all there was about the Egyptians and he prospered as a leader in Egypt.
You can also do the same as a leader. You have to make effort to learn about your wife and children. That is what increases your confidence level. It also empowers you to handle your flock with the wisdom of God. For instance, you cannot deal with your wife according to knowledge if you do not understand her (1Pet.3:7). You cannot nurture your children in the admonition and way of the Lord until you know who your child is and what the Bible says (Eph.6:4). In 2Tim.2:15, the Scripture says, study to show thyself approved unto God as a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Jesus speaking said, and you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. If you want to enjoy freedom and peace with your wife and children, you must step up your knowledge game about your flock. The more you know them the better you are as a good and godly husband. You must desire to know your wife and children and keep discovering new and exciting opportunities about them. You cannot be greater than what you know. You cannot be better on a subject more than the knowledge you have.
· Father, by Your power, deliver me from the power of ignorance.
· Father, by Your Spirit, guide me through the word of truth concerning my flock.
· Father, by Your Spirit, reveal my flock to me and Your will for them.
I am committed to study my wife and children so that I could be mighty in words and in deeds as a good and godly husband in Jesus name. Amen.
