You Are Full Of Power

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Luke 10:18-19

More Scriptures: Gen.32:28, 2Sam.22:33, Ac.1:8

But truly, I AM FULL OF POWER BY THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD (Mic.3:8). Every good and godly husband is man full of power and not half-full. The life of Christ inside of you as a husband is what empowers you to function as a man of authority and influence. As the head of your family, you can decree a thing and it shall come to pass. In fact, the power of God inside of you enables you to decide what you want and do not want in your family fold and the lives of your wife and husband. When God called you to lead your wife and children, he knew that there will be mountains to overcome, obstacles to upturn and enemies to triumph over. Whatever you are going through today in the administration of your family kingdom as the head of the family, can be “overcomeable” because from the beginning God empowered you for the office of the husbandhood. Let me share with you a personal testimony. My first child came back from school someday with bumps all over her body. I thought it was a normal thing that would go with time.

Unfortunately, as the days went by, her condition grew worse. My wife and I took her to the hospital but she could not be treated because the hospital didn’t have the drugs. We were recommended to visit the pharmacy to buy the drugs. As my wife and I went from one pharmacy to another, we couldn’t get the drugs. As I got to the last pharmacy store and did get it, I got angry in my spirit and went home ready to meet with my Healer. Just as I went to bed, I had an encounter with God. He told me to lay her tithe booklet on her and read out Malachi 3:10. As I woke up from that divine visitation, I knew I had contacted power with God. With this empowerment, my wife and I did as God commanded. And instantly, my girl that was twice her size because of the affliction deflated instantaneously. To God alone be all the glory. As the head of the family, God has given you power to provide security, succour, anchor and protection for your wife and children. Your headship does not only make you a provider, it also makes you a carrier of healing virtues. In Luke 10:19, the Scriptures say I have given YOU AUTHORITY over all the power of the enemies. You have authority over that sickness that is troubling your wife and children. You can stop that harassment of the enemy against your flock. You must walk in this reality and lay hands on them in faith and curse the attackers. Stop watching your wife and children suffer. Go on the offensive. God has given you all authority. Don’t fail God. Act like a husband.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to exercise my authority over the works of the enemy.

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of boldness, courage and faith.

·         Father, in the Name of Jesus, restore the honor of my office as a husbandman.

FAITH CONFESSION

I take authority over the affairs of my family fold and exercise God-kind of influence in the lives of my wife and children because that is what makes me a good and godly husband in Jesus Name. Amen.
