PRIESTLY BLESSING TO YOUR WIFE (2)

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Ephesians 1:17-19

More Scriptures: Mark 8:18, Acts 9:18, Matthew 20:33

Yesterday, from the standpoint of the priest as the head of your wife, you were challenged by the Holy Ghost to re-strategize by pronouncing the blessing of energy and strength for your wives. I pray in the name of Jesus that every pronouncement of energy and strength that you make over your wife shall find quick answers in her. And the blessings thereafter will be enjoyed by both of you. Don’t make it a one-off thing. Decide a day in the week when you will make the pronouncement, so that whatever you declare remains working in her.

Today, I want you to consider another priestly pronouncement. And this is so important because satan wants to cast doubt and fear into the heart of your wife. Satan does it so that your wife will doubt you and will be afraid to trust your leadership in the sheepfold. So, when you share your faith, aspirations and plans with her, she will struggle to agree with you. This is what happened at the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3:1-6, where satan deceived the wife of Adam, Eve, and made her to doubt the commandments and instructions of her husband. As the husband, you must never leave your wife to chance. You must be deliberate in your actions. Now what is the second priestly blessing you must declare over your wife? This is it. FATHER, DECLARE MY WIFE’S MIND IS PROTECTED FROM DOUBT AND FEAR. Have you wondered why this prayer point is so important to your wife directly and to you indirectly? It is simply because until your wife sees what you see, she may never appreciate your efforts. Any wonder, you hear husbands complain that their wives don’t believe them or their visions or even projects. As the head of your wife, the two forces you must contend with on her behalf are doubt and fear. You must pray to God to stir up the spirit of faith in the heart of your wife. There are so many dreams and visions that you may have and want to pursue, but you are afraid that your wife may not believe you not because she doesn’t trust you but perhaps, she is afraid that the dream may fail. And if you don’t help her faith through bold declaration, you may not be able to pursue your dream. My father in the faith, Bishop David Oyedepo once said, “you don’t doubt what you see”. As your wife sees what you see and understands what you understand, her fears and doubts would disappear. Her faith would be stirred up to believe you and what you have been called to do. She will also be inspired to pray for your assignment in her private and quiet time. You must protect your wife so that she can be a valuable asset to you and your children. It is not a mistake that you are married to her. God has made her a blessing to you. Be her priest.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me wife from fear and doubt and baptize her with the Spirit of faith and boldness.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, protect my wife from internal and external attacks and give her peace.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, shield my wife from ungodly and bad influences.

FAITH CONFESSION

I stand in the priestly office of the husbandman and pronounce the priestly blessing of faith and courage upon my wife because I am the good and godly shepherd in Jesus Name. Amen.
