Main Scriptures: Jas.1:24-25
More Scriptures: Ps.119:105, Ps.1:1-3, Jos.1:8
But be ye doers of the word and not hearers only, deceiving your won selves. For if any be a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass. For he beholdeth himself and goeth his way and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh unto the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (Jas.1:22-25) KJV
Do you want to be blessed as a man, husband and father in all you do? Do you want to be an asset to your wife and children and humanity rather than a liability? Do you want to prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers? Do you want to leave a worthy legacy for the world to emulate? Do you want to be that shepherd that other husbandmen want to follow? Then there are three action steps that you must take.
The first is to look into the perfect law of liberty-the Bible. The Bible provides you the complete picture of who you are, what you are born to do and where you are ordained to end. All you need to know about your headship is in the word of God. All you need to know about how to relate with your wife and children is in the Bible. How to handle disobedient sheep and treat them as value-added sheep is in the Bible. But you have a responsibility to look into the book because the word of God is a lamp to guide your feet and a light for your path (Ps.119:105) NLT.
The second is to meditate on what you have discovered from the word of God. For example, consider these Bible passages for a moment. Eph.6:4, Eph.5:25, 1Pet.3:7, Philp.4:8, 1Tim.3:1-8, Gal.4:19. If you mediate (think) through them until it becomes flesh, you will become a better man, husband and father to your wife, children and the world (Ps.1:2-3). The third is to act it. God will not bless you because you are the head of your family. God will bless you because you are doing those things that He has commanded you to do (Deut.28:1).
So, it is not okay to confess with your mouth, it is much important that you do the works that you declare because, only a doer of the work shall be blessed in his deed (Jas.1:25b)

FAITH CONFESSION
I am a student, a thinker and a worker of the truth from the word of God because that is the pathway to becoming the good and godly husbandman to my wife, children and the world in Jesus name. Amen.
