Fear thou not, for I am with thee ……..yea I will help thee…For I thy Lord will hold your thy right hand, saying unto thee, fear not, I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm of Jacob, and ye men of Israel, I will help thee (Is.41:10-14).
Rejoice, again I say rejoice (Philp.4:4)

Recent studies show that more men and husbands are committing suicide now than ever before. And just recently, precisely Saturday 18th of March, 2017, a medical doctor and potential husband, committed suicide in Lagos, Nigeria. According to the reports, he was with his driver heading to Lagos Island for a meeting. As they got on the third mainland bridge linking the mainland to the Island, he asked his driver to stop. The driver stopped and the doctor got out of the car. Before anyone could say Jack, he jumped into the river and got drowned. Sadly, before help could reach him, the water current had drifted him farther away. Few days later, he was found dead.
I may not know what could have influenced his decision to take his life. But one thing I do know is that the enemy, called the spirit of death did it. This spirit thrives on the platform of frustration, disappointments and disapproval. The result is that the husband becomes depressed and sees no value and reason for living. And pronto, he commits suicide.
The Lord has a word for a husband reading this devotional today. It seems you have done everything that you know to do, yet the situation keeps getting compounded. Maybe you have even prayed, fasted and offered your time and resources to serve the interest of God on the earth, and it looks like the doors have just refused to open for you. Maybe you are about to take that poison or even shoot yourself so that you could end your life and escape the constant attacks from within and without. Well, just hold on. This is the word of the Lord for you,
“I will restore to you this day, your lands, your vineyards, your olive yards and your houses. I will also restore your finances a hundred-fold, including your corn, your wine and your oil” (Neh.5:11) Says the Spirit of God.
I therefore pray in the name of Jesus that every intention of hell to take your life is nullified. I decree that every unseen force motivating you to commit suicide is destroyed. I command the light of Jesus to shine through the dark alleys of your life and give you peace. I pray that your heart be opened to see the glorious destiny God has prepared for in Jesus name.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
