House and riches are the inheritance of fathers and a prudent wife is from God (Pro.19:14)
Yesterday, by the help of the Holy Spirit, we, the husbandmen understood that a prudent wife comes from God and we have a responsibility to partner with God through the Person of the Holy Spirit to secure a prudent wife.
Today, let’s see the steps to take to obtain a prudent wife from God from the word of God because the truth of God’s word brings answers and hope. Search the Scriptures, for in it ye think ye have eternal life (Jn.5:39). It doesn’t matter what your family members may have told you about your wife and it matters less what others may have said about your wife, God can give you a prudent wife because it is your heritage in Christ Jesus.
But how do I secure a prudent wife from God?
Firstly, you must engage the force of prayer (Gal.4:19, Mk.9:29). As the husbandman, the altar of prayer is the platform God has provided for you to obtain anything and everything from God. The word of God says, if you ask anything in my name and according to the will of my Father, He heareth you (1Jn.5:14). Don’t think that you can make your wife prudent by abusing her physically, emotionally or mentally. Praying for her is the master key. I travail in birth until Christ is formed in you (Gal.4:19).
Secondly, you must intercede for your wife in faith (Heb.11:1-2). You will never see God change your foolish wife to a prudent wife without your faith in God and His word. You must not only pray to God to give you a prudent wife, you must also believe that He can give you a prudent wife. If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth.
And finally, keep declaring that you have a prudent wife even when she is far from becoming one. For with the heart man believeth and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rom.10:10). You are justified or condemned by the words of your mouth. Your confession is as powerful as your prayers. Both of them must walk together.
God wants to give you a prudent wife. Partner with Him to receive it.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make my wife a prudent woman and wise helper.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up the Spirit of faith in my heart to believe You for a prudent wife.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, fill my heart with love for my wife and children.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have a prudent wife from God because it is my heritage as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
