NOW, THE LORD WILL HELP YOU

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Is.41:13-14, Ps.46:5, Mk.11:22, Num.23:19, Ex.3:14, Matt.6:9, Lk.11:11-13, Jer.33:3, Ps.90:14, PS.121:1-2

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, fear not I will help thee. Fear not I will help thee. Fear not, thou worm of Jacob, and ye men of Israel, I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel (Is.41:13-14)

Just as I sat down to write today’s devotional, and after talking to my heavenly Father about the day’s work, the Person of the Holy Spirit took me to Isaiah chapter 41 and verses 13 and 14 and said these words to me. “Say to the husbandman reading this devotional not to be afraid, for I will help him.

I believe this prophetic word is for a husbandman who is afraid of what tomorrow holds; unsure of what today holds; and fearful that his dreams and expectations may not be realized. Fear not! Says the Lord of Host. Does it seem as if all doors are shut against you? Does it seem as if you are unable to provide for your family because of your lack of financial and material provision? Is your back against the wall and it seems there is no way of escape for you? Your Father, my Father has just told you and I to fear not. He says that He will help us.

Read this prophetic word again to further strengthen your resolve to trust God to help you.

God is in the midst of her, she shall not be moved. God shall help her and that right early (Ps.46:5)

What must I do to enjoy the help of God overcome fear of defeat and losses?

Have faith in God and His Word!

And Jesus answering saith unto them, have faith in God (Mk.11:22)

God cannot lie (Num.23:19). He can be trusted and He is ever reliable. He is ever true, ever dependable and ever capable. God has described Himself this way. God said unto to Moses, I AM THAT I AM (Ex.3:14).

Have a father-mentality of God. Picture God as your Father.

After this manner therefore pray ye, our Father which art in heaven……(Matt.6:9)

God is more than a prayer answering God. He is your Father. He does not only care for you, He is compassionate and loving. He knows your limitations, and He wants to help you. Picture for a moment who a good father is and what he is capable of doing. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give you the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? (Lk.11:11-13).

The Lord is your helper. He is coming through for you.

Now let us sing this song of hope, faith and assurance together.

Hold on to Jesus, hold on to Jesus, hold on to Jesus every day.

He’s got the power to change all circumstances.

Hold on to Jesus every day.

Hallelujah!
