GOD CAN GIVE YOU A PRUDENT WIFE

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Pro.19:14, Pro.14:15, Gen.2:18-20, Pro.14:18, Jas.1:5, Eph.5:25-28, 1Pet.3:7-9, Lk.18:1, Gal.4:19, Eph.1:18-19

Over the past months, I have received request from husbandmen asking if the Mission has devotional for wives. And each time, I respond that the Mission does not have. Just yesterday, I also received enquiry about it. And I began to ask but why? And the Holy Spirit opened me to understand that just as the husbandman is building himself up to become good and godly husband by reading the teaching in this devotional, IN TUNE WITH GOD, he desires same for his wife.

It is for this reason, we shall be looking at how you and I can take our place in Jesus Christ and help our wives become all that we desire of them to be-good and godly wife.

House and riches are the inheritance of fathers and A PRUDENT WIFE IS FROM GOD (Pro.19:14)

As the husbandman, we must understand that a prudent wife comes from God and we have a responsibility to partner with God through the Person of the Holy Spirit and the word of God to make that happen.

But what steps do you and I take to get a prudent wife from God because it is our heritage in Christ?

Firstly, you and I must engage the force of prayer (Gal.4:19, Mk.9:29). As the husbandman, the altar of prayer is the platform God has provided for us to obtain anything and everything from Him. The word of God says.

If you ask anything in my name and according to the will of my Father, He heareth you (1Jn.5:14)

You and I cannot make our wife prudent by abusing her physically, emotionally or mentally. Praying for her is the master key to building her into a prudent, wise and lovely vessel.

I travail in birth until Christ is formed in you (Gal.4:19)

Secondly, you and I must intercede for our wife in faith (Heb.11:1-2). We will never see God change our wife to a prudent wife without our faith in God and His word. You and I must not only pray to God to make our wife a wise and prudent woman, we must also believe that He can give us a prudent wife.

If thou canst believe all things are possible to him that believeth

And finally, we must keep declaring that we have a prudent wife even when she is far from becoming one.

For with the heart man believeth and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Rom.10:10)

You and I are justified or condemned by the words of our mouth. Our confession is as powerful as our prayers. Therefore, let us keep declaring and confessing only good and what God has said concerning our wife.

God wants to give you and I a prudent wife. Let us partner with Him to receive and keep a prudent wife.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, make my wife a prudent woman and wise helper.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up the Spirit of faith in my heart to believe You for a prudent wife.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, fill my heart with love for my wife and children.

FAITH CONFESSION

I have a prudent wife from God because it is my heritage as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
