BE REMINDED OF THESE THINGS

Spread the love

Bible Texts: 2Cor.5:17, Jn.3:4-8, Ps.24:1-2, Jn.8:32, 2Tim.2:15, Ps.1;1-3, Jos.1:6-9, Heb.11;1-6, Philp.2:13, Gal.4:19, Eph.1:18-19, Deut.6:5-8, Mk.9:29, Lev.6:9, Rom.10:10

Praise God! Today is the last day in the month of October 2023. I have no doubt in my heart that God has come through for you as the man, husband and father in ways you never imagined. For all that God has done for you, with you and through you, you must return all the glory and praise to Him.

As we close the month of October 2023, I want the husbandman to be reminded of who he is and must be intentional in pursuing the perfect plans of God for his life as the good and godly man, husband and father.

Four things are important for the husbandman, which he must always put before him.

The first is that he must be in Christ by maininting a sweet fellowship with Him (Ps.24:1-2, Jn.3:4-7, 2Cor.5:17). As the husbandman, whom God has called to live and lead a life that is well pleasing in goodness and righteousness, your continuous connection with God through Jesus Christ is very important. God is the vinedresser, Jesus Christ is the vine and you are the branch. If you want to continue to bear good and godly fruits, you must me in the vine.

The second is that the husbandman must continue to give attention to the study and meditation of the word of God. Everything is ruled by laws and principles, including the office of the husbandman. And the law and principles that govern the husbandman is in the Bible. The more you study the word of God, the more you know God’s perfect plan for your life as the man, husband and father, and the more you know the better your life will be (Jos.1:6-9, Deut.6:6-10, Ps.1:1-3, Jn.8:32, 2Tim.2:15).

The third is that the husbandman must give himself to fervent prayers and intercession. Prayer is the fuel that powers you to become what God has ordained you to be. Through the prayer platform, you enforce the perfect will of God for your life as the man, husband and father and bring your wife and children to the way and admonition of the Lord (Lev.6:9, Mk.9:29, Eph.6:4, Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13, Heb.11:1-6).

Finally, you must demonstrate what you believe and know by your action. That is faith in God and His word by the force of your confession (Rom.10:10). The Bible says that we believe and we speak.

These are the weapons of warfare you must continue to engage in your journey to becoming the good and godly husbandman,

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to live more of Your life and less of me in all things that I think, do or say.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to engage with the word of God and let it become flesh in my life.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of grace, supplication and faith to reign as the good and godly husbandman.

FAITH CONFESSION

I give priority to what God has said about my mandate as the husbandman and I give myself to the demands of Scriptures that enable me to become the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
