GOD WANTS YOU TO SUCCEED IN ALL THINGS (3)

Praise be to Jesus Christ our Lord! We are in the third day of the teaching series on learning how and why God wants you and I to succeed as the good and godly husbandman. I pray in the Name of Jesus that the reality of God’s abundant life will be real to you. Amen.

Another way God empowers you to succeed when you give is through the release of divine ideas. God inspires you with innovation and creativity in your chosen endeavours and pursuit to the end that you prosper.

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, IF I WILL NOT OPEN YOU THE WINDOWS OF HEAVEN and pour you out a blessing, that there shall be room enough to receive it (Mal.3:10)

The Scripture in Malachi chapter 3 and verse 10 says that God will open to you the windows of heaven. This is talking about rain of ideas. As the good and godly husbandman who is a cheerful giver, you need creative ability to know what to do, how to do what you do and when to do it. And the Person of the Holy Spirit can teach you the secrets that you require to succeed in your family life, career, business and all your pursuits (Jn.14:26).

Now that you have known the ways God helps you to succeed, it is very important that you also know why He empowers you for success because if you do not know the reason, you may abuse it and walk in ignorance.

The first reason why God wants you to succeed is in 1^st Timothy chapter.

But if any provide not for his own and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith and is worse than an infidel (1Tim.5:8)

As the husbandman, God blesses you because He wants you to fulfill your covenant obligations to your wife and children. He wants you to provide for their needs and this includes their education, food, shelter, clothing and so much more. You are their custodian and shepherd (Ps.23;1). You owe them the honour of providing for them, not as a privilege but as your covenant responsibility.

The second reason is in Genesis chapter 12.

And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee and make thy name great, and thou shalt be a blessing (Gen.12:1-3)

God wants you to be a channel of financial blessing to either your biological or adopted parents, the needy around you, and supporting the weak and vulnerable. God is not blessing you to be selfish (Pro.11:24, Lk.12:16-21). He wants you to be the pipe that gives smiles, joy and laughter to others in and around your community (Matt.5:14). God wants you to be a trans-generational agent of blessing after the order of Abraham (Gen.12:1-3).

Now that you know God’s perfect plan for you, it is important that you walk in this understanding if you must experience the reality of God’s abundant life this year 2024 and beyond. Be obedient to the sowing and reaping covenant demands (Gen.8:22).

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with the giving grace and make me to eat the good of the land.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to give willingly and cheerfully.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me to see, recognize and apply myself to the ways You want to bless me.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am a giver and a channel of God’s blessings to humanity because that is what empowers me to continue to reign as the prosperous, good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
