As we approach the end of September 2024 and with three months to go for the year 2024 to end, you may be unsure if you have made any progress in your life. Satan may point at things around you that are not working and make you doubt if God has done any good thing for you. Don’t fall for the devil’s trick of ingratitude. It is aimed at stopping you from seeing a glorious tomorrow in God through Jesus Christ (Jn.10:10).This is why the topic today is important.
As the good and godly husbandman, God wants you to have a heart of gratitude. God wants you to live a life of continuous attitude of thanksgiving. The fact is that you may not be where you set out at the beginning of the year; the circumstances around you may not be favourable; you may even have lost money and opportunities. But the truth is that God is the reason why you have not lost everything.
The opposite of ingratitude is murmuring and complaining. And God doesn’t like it. Murmuring and complaining are disastrous tools in your leadership role as the good and godly husbandman (Num.11:1-2). Complaining has the power to diminish the worth of God and His works in your life as the man, husband and father .You cannot keep complaining about your life and expect it to bear good fruits. This is why you must be very watchful of the spirit of ingratitude.
What do I enjoy if I develop an attitude of gratitude? The word of God in Psalms chapter 67 gives the answer.
Let the people praise thee O God, let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase, and God even our God shall bless us (Ps.67:5-6)
As the husbandman, the attitude of gratitude empowers you for increases and multiplication. As the good and godly husbandman, if you want to experience increase and fruitfulness in your life, you must cultivate the attitude of gratitude to God. A grateful heart is the master key to a world of unending progress.
The attitude of gratitude is the perfect will of God for you and it is the pathway to fruitfulness on all sides.
