YOU ARE MATCHING UNTO VICTORY

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Rom.8:37, Eph.6:12, Rom.6:16, 2Cor.5:15, Jn.1:1-3, Heb.11:2-3, Jude 1:20, Lk.18:1, Jn.15:5, Lk.10:19, Rev.12:11

Yesterday, by the leading of the Person of the Holy Spirit, you and I as husbandmen understood that praying the word of God into our lives empowers us to function as the good and godly men, husbands and fathers.

Today, there is an assurance for you, even as you pray, that God will answer you and give you victory.

Call unto me and I will answer you…..(Jer.33:3)

As the good and godly husbandman, you must exude confidence and unusual faith in God and His word that when you call He will answer, notwithstanding the challenges.

You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus (Rom.8:37)

God has made provision for your victory over the struggles that confront the husbandman-untimely death, lack and want, bitterness, adultery and stealing, unforgiveness and hatred, hopelessness and doubts. So, just like the player in a lawn tennis competition, who has the advantage in serving match point and displaying all the nature of a victor, you are also serving the match point with victory in sight (Eph.6:12).

But for you to match to victory, you must submit your all to God, through Jesus Christ,  by obeying all that He commands you to do as the man, husband and father (Deut.28:1).

The person we yield our bodies to is our master (Rom.6:16)

So, the question to you is this. Who is your master and who are praying to? Jesus Christ or satan? To become a victor and reign as the godly husbandman, you must make Jesus Christ your Lord and personal Saviour and allow Him to take first place in your life and all that concerns you (2 Cor.5:17).

Secondly, you must continue to feed your faith with the word of God and by speaking boldly the truth of Scriptures inwardly and openly (Jn.1:1-3, Heb.11:2-3,6, Jude 1:20). Faith is a spiritual force. If you don’t make conscious effort to feed it with the word of God, you cannot overcome the challenges of life. The word of God is the source of your ever growing and ever winning faith.

And finally, you must keep your prayer altar burning, like we learnt yesterday (Lk.18:1). Praying always in the Holy Ghost empowers your inner man for unusual boldness. Prayer builds your most holy faith and stirs up the spirit of faith in you which will make you to confront every device of satan, sin and the world.

You are a victor. You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. You are matching to victory. Hallelujah!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with the Spirit of faith and boldness.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me hearing ears and seeing eyes to behold wonders from Your word.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with the spirit of grace and supplication for a victorious life.

FAITH CONFESSION

God has ordained me a victor and I am serving match points against the forces of hell, sin and the world to secure my glorious destiny as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
