As we make progress towards taking our rightful place as the good and godly husbandman, it is important to know that the ability of the husbandman to see the future, derived from the word of God is what keeps him on course the journey to becoming the good and godly man, husband and father.
See what the Scripture says.
Where there is no vision, the people perish (Pro.29:18-19)
The word of God says that where there is no vision, the people perish. This means that vision gives life, hope and faith to your existence as the husbandman. Vision gives you direction. And as the good and godly husbandman, God has great plans for you but can you see it?
Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying Jeremiah, WHAT SEEST THOU? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jer.1:11-12) KJV
Although God had great plans for Jeremiah, He nevertheless asked him what can he see. God is also asking you today, what can you see?
As the good and godly husbandman, God wants you to be on the same page with Him in terms of His plans and purpose for your life. This is why you must see from the word of God what God is seeing for you, otherwise you will not fulfill the great plans He has for your life.
But where is the source of your vision?
The source of the vision for your life as the husbandman is from the word of God. The Bible provides you with the vision God has for you as the good and godly man, husband and father.
Search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life and they are they which testify of me (Jn.5:39)
When you search the Bible, you will find amazing visions of God for your life as the man, husband and father. You will discover the life that God wants you to live and the commitments He wants from you. You will also see the inheritances He has for you.
How does what I see from the word of God bless me as the husbandman?
The visions you see from God’s word allows you to see things not as they are but as God sees them. And this gives you faith, hope and patience. Secondly, the visions you see from the word of God empowers you to act and remain steadfast in the pursuit of what is good and godly, notwithstanding the pressure from satan, sin and the world. Praise God!
Again, what can you see from the word of God for your life as the good and godly man, husband and father? What have you discovered about the great plans of God for your life as the husbandman?
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower my inner eyes to see Your glorious plans from Your word for my as the man, husband and father.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to run with the vision from Your word for my life and family.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of faith and boldness and help me to see the fulfillment of Your glorious plans for my life and family
FAITH CONFESSION
I am filled with the vision of God for my life as the man, husband and father and I run with the vision with diligence and commitment, notwithstanding the challenges because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
