HOPE IN GOD AND HIS WORD

Bible Texts: Ps.45:3-4, Ps.9:18, Matt.5:14-16, Hag.1:7-8, Mal.3:10, Is.41:10-13, 2Cor.9:6-11, Lk.6:48, Jos.1:6-8, Ps.1:1-3, 3Jn.1:2, Jer.29:11, Jn.10:10

Yesterday, by the grace of God I was invited to speak at one of the chapters of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship. The focus of the message was to help the husbandmen see from God’s word how to stay strong and hopeful in times like this.

Today’s message is the message of hope and faith to a husbandman reading this devotional. And by the help of the Person of the Holy Spirit, I want to re-echo the message of hope and faith from the word of God. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, you will not lose your faith in God and His word to the pressures of life. Amen.

Hold onto these two Bible passages. They are the irrevocable words of assurance from our heavenly Father, who is mindful of you.

This is the first.

I wish above all things that you prosper and be in health even as your soul prospers (3Jn.1:2)

And the second is this.

My thoughts towards you are good and not evil, to give you a hope and a future (Jer.23:11)

God wants you to prosper in your body, soul, spirit and the work of your hands. God has great plans for your life as the man, husband and father. God is mindful of you and wants to be hopeful in Him and His promises. God wants you to live the abundant life (Jn.10:10).

Thou art fairer than the children of men, grace is poured into thy lips, therefore God hath blessed thee forever (Ps.45:2)

As the good and godly husbandman, God has a prosperity plan for you that will last beyond your life and that plans cover your finances, health, fruitfulness of your body and the works of your hands, mental health, longevity, peace, joy, strength and agility, hope and faith.

Therefore, do not cast your confidence away but rejoice in the Lord and praise Him. Let the garment of praise swallow the spirit of heaviness. Let the spirit of faith overcome the spirit of fear and let the spirit of hope overcome the spirit of doubt.

Be hopeful in God! Be hopeful in His word! Be hopeful in His promises! God is coming through for you today and His name shall be glorified in your life.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for losing my confidence and faith in You and Your word.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for the impartation of the spirit of hope and faith in my life.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, bless me indeed.

FAITH CONFESSION

I have received the spirits of hope and faith and I know that God shall honour His promises in my life and I shall be honoured as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
