KEEP PRESSING ON TOWARDS THE GOAL

There is a song I love to sing. It has been a blessing to me over the years. It says, “I won’t give up, oh, I won’t give up, I’ll keep pressing on, until my change comes”. This song popped up in my spirit this morning when I was about to write today’s devotional. And it is intended to inspire the husbandman to never give up as he pursues God’s divine plan and purpose for his life in 2025 and beyond.
This is God’s word for you.
I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ….And I run toward the goal to take the victory of calling of God……..(Philp.3:14-15)
As the good and godly husbandman, God wants you to never give up on your assignments as the man, husband and father. God wants you to press on towards the goal of your high calling as the husbandman. God doesn’t want you to throw in the towel to satan, sin and the world through discouragement, despair and fear. Rather, God wants you to press on and continue to press until you become the good and godly husbandman.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and EVERYMAN PRESSETH UNTO IT (Lk.16:16)
The Scripture says, “every man presseth”. God has empowered you to press on. Therefore, you must react against anything or circumstance that is contrary to the perfect will of God for your life as the good and godly husbandman. You must fight the influences and manipulations of satan, sin and the world and recover whatever have been stolen, destroyed or lost just as David did (1Sam.30:18-20).
You must understand that no one will take the responsibility to press on for you but you. Your pastor, bishop, reverend, parents, government, relations or friends cannot. You are the only person who can press towards the goal of the high calling God has set for, working with Person of the Holy Spirit (Rom.8:37, Eph.6:12). Therefore, press onto victory!

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, put a permanent seal of Your blessings upon my family in the year 2025
FAITH CONFESSION
I have faith, trust and hope in God and His word and I press towards the mark of the high calling to become a vessel of honour unto God because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
