FORCE OF CHANGE: DAY 41

YOU ARE A LIVING SACRIFICE UNTO JESUS CHRIST

Bible Texts: Pro.23:26, Matt.15:18-20, Jn.15:5, Mk.7:6, Heb.10:22, Rom.12:1-3, Pro.4:19-21, Matt.5:14-16, Gal.4:19, Gal.5:22-24

My son, give me thine heart and let thine eyes observe my ways (Pr.23:26)

As the husbandman, you are a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God (Rom.12:1-3). So, God is interested in you and wants you to give Him your heart because the quality of your heart influences the quality of your life.

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things that defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man (Matt.15:18-20)

The totality of your action or inaction, whether good or bad, is as a result of the state of your heart. If your heart is right, your conduct will also be right because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

However, for you to give your heart to God and become a living sacrifice, you must accept that your life needs help and you are willing to seek fellowship with God through Jesus Christ (Is.1:18-19, Jn.3:3-8).

Your heavenly Father wants the best for you, and so giving Him your heart and allowing Him to have His way will be your joy and rejoicing. God wants to feed your life with graceful seeds that will make you produce fruits of the spirit (Gal.5:22-23); God wants to feed your heart with His wisdom that will give you command over the issues of life (Pro.4:20-24); God wants to feed your heart with the Spirit of holiness that will give authority over every form of filthiness (2Cor.7:1). But you must give Him your life as a living sacrifice (Rom.12:1-3).

Therefore, decide today to rededicate your life to God through Jesus Christ by making Him the Lord of your life (Acts 10:34-36). Make a commitment today that you will only do what God commands from His word and allow only His word to be the basis for your action and decision.

Glory be to Jesus Christ because He has made you the good and godly husbandman.

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, destroy the power of poverty, shame, struggle, reproach and emptiness in our lives in 2025

FAITH CONFESSION

I give my heart to Jesus so that He can be Lord over my life because I want my thought, will, emotion, conduct and responses to reflect the true nature of the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
