FORCE OF CHANGE: DAY 63

Bible Texts: Jer.1:10-12, Gen.1:2-3, Rom.5:5, Jn.10:10, Gen.12:1-3, Gal.4:19, Gal.2:13, Lk.18:1, Col.3:19, Eph.6:4, Ps.23:1, 1Tim.5:8, 2Tim.2:15, Josh.1:6-8

I welcome you the 63rd day of the ongoing 70 days of fasting and prayers. I have no doubt you are having a sweet fellowship with your heavenly Father. To God alone we give all the glory.

But can you see yourself living the life of the good and godly husbandman (Jn.10:1-2)? Can you see yourself bearing the fruits of the spirit that represent your identity as the follower of Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman (Gal.5:22-24)?

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying Jeremiah, WHAT SEEST THOU? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jer.1:11-12) KJV

The word of God in Jeremiah chapter 1 and verses 11 to12 reminds us that God is interested in what we see about our marriage, our home, our wife and children? This is because what you and I see from the word of God about ourselves as the man, the husband and the father influences how we live and conduct ourselves.

As the good and godly husbandman, you must understand that vision is life and it is powerful. Vision gives meaning and value to your existence as the husbandman. It is the motivation you will always need to remain on course in the pursuit of God’s perfect plan for your life. Through the power of vision, you can lead successfully as the man, husband and father, regardless of the challenges that come with being a leader.

It is important for you to know that the source of your vision for your life as the man, husband and father is the word of God. The Bible paints for you the pictures of your glorious life as the good and godly man, husband and father. So, you must own a Bible and give attention and commitment to studying it, meditating on it and allowing the word to be rooted firmly in your heart and mind (Ps.119:133, Pro.4:22-25, Jn.5:39, Rom.12:1-2, Gal.4:19).

When you can see from the word of God, the picture of your future as the man, husband and father, you will not be discouraged and hopeless. Rather, you will be empowered, inspired and motivated to keep pressing until the vision becomes a reality in your life. Hallelujah!

Now what can you see about yourself as the man, husband and father?
