EMPOWERED TO BECOME BY PRAYER AND FASTING

Today is the 70th day of the ongoing 70 days of fasting and prayers. It is the last day of the fast. I have no doubt that we have all had diverse encounters from the prayer altar and from the word of God during this spiritual exercise. For all the answers we have received to our prayers and for the grace to wait upon the Lord all these days, we return all thanks, glory and praise to Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
This is the assurance I want you to have today. And that is the prayers you have been praying unto God through Jesus Christ has empowered you to become the good and godly man, husband and father.
Wherefore, my beloved, as all of you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For IT IS GOD WHICH WORKETH IN YOU BOTH TO WILL AND TO DO OF HIS GOOD PLEASURE. Do all things without murmurings and disputings (Philippians 2:12-14)
From the Bible passage in Philippians chapter 2 and verse 13, it is clear that God is the only person who can empower you to desire and do His good pleasure as the man, husband and father. Only God can make you to submit to Him in all things and only He alone can make you obey Him in all things. Without the empowerment of God through the Person of the Holy Spirit, you will struggle to fulfill God’s plan for your life as the husbandman (Zech.4:6, Jn.15:5).
Now that I know that I have been empowered by the power of God to function as the good and godly husbandman, how do I remain empowered all the days of this year and beyond?
You remain empowered by engaging the weapons of prayer and fasting as your lifestyle (Lev.6:9, Mk.9:29, Acts 2:1-4). The prayer platform is the altar of empowerment (Jer.33:3). The more you engage and activate your prayer life by fervently asking for empowerment from God, the more you are empowered to perform. And the word of God is what you require as the wood that keeps your prayer altar burning continually.
The good and godly change and growth you desire in your life as the husbandman is possible and it is a noble cause and it is the perfect will of God (Ps.138:8). Hence, praying the word of God and praying in the Holy Ghost enables you to desire and to do the perfect will of God for your life as the man, husband and father.
Are you ready to keep your prayer altar burning continually, so that you can daily enjoy the power of God to become the good and godly husbandman because you cannot prevail by your own strength but by the strength of God (1Sam.2:9)?

Day 70
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, strengthen my heart to be hopeful, faithful, diligent and prudent in my business in 2025
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me the first partaker of my business success
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, do not let my business labour be eaten by another man
FAITH CONFESSION
I continue to stand in prayer, praying the perfect will of God to be done in my life and doing those things that please Him because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
