BE VIGILANT AND GUARD THE KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST IN YOU

Spread the love

Bible Texts: 1Tim.2:3-4, Jn.8:32, Ezk.2:2, Ps.35:27, Jn.16:22, Col.2:8, Rom.16:17, Jn.5:39, 2Tim.2:15, Jn.10:10, Jos.1:66-8, Rom.12:1-3, Mk.9:29, Lk.18:1, Philp.2:13

Over the past three (3) days, we have discovered and learnt from Scriptures that the word of God is our anchor to living a victorious life as the good and godly husbandman. This is because the Spirit of God is behind the word of God and there are principles, instructions, commandments and guidance for the three persons of the husbandman-man, husband and father (Ezk.2:2).

This is the admonition from God to you and I.

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who will have all men to be saved and to come unto the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH (1Tim.2:3-4)

Having known the powerfulness of the word of God, you have the responsibility to guard the knowledge of the truth of the word of God. This is because the word of God in you and the spirit of truth of the word is your greatest weapon of warfare that sustains you in the midst of challenges and pressure. The more of Christ and His word you have at work in you, the more powerful you will reign gloriously in your spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, financial and relational life as the good and godly man, husband and father.

In order to guard the knowledge of the truth of God’s word from being stolen by satan, sin and the world, you must fight for the word of God through constant fellowship with the Person of the Holy Spirit and the study of the word of God (Jn.14:26, 2Tim.2:15). Secondly, you must see God as your father who desires fellowship by your engagement of the word (Ps.1:1-2). Make out time to have a conversation with God just as a son will with his father. Thirdly, you must engage the force of prayer and fasting to access the power of God to believe the word of God as the living truth (Lk.18:1, Mk.9:29, Philp.2:13).

Therefore, as you walk, stand and sit, you must be conscious of the word of God. You must be like the good farmer who goes to the field to till the ground. After which he plants the seeds and waters them. Thereafter he harvests and keeps the harvest secured from being stolen. That is how you must approach the word of God for your life in order for you to keep growing in the knowledge of the truth of the word of God for you as the good and godly husbandman.

Hallelujah!
