EXERCISE THE POWER OF GOD TO BECOME

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Matt.10:1, 1Cor.16:9, Eph.1:21, 3Jn.1:2, Lk.10:19, Mk.9:29, Jn.3:3-7, 2Cor.5:17, Rev.12:11, Rom.8:31, Job 22:28, Matt.18:18-20

One of the blessings the resurrection of Jesus Christ gives to the husbandman is the power to become. And that is what God wants you to exercise beginning from today. The life of Jesus Christ in the life of the husbandman is what empowers him to do as Christ will do on earth.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease (Mk.10:1)

God has given you authority and power, and He wants you to exercise it.

But why must I exercise the authority and power of Jesus Christ at work in me?

Great doors are open for you but there many obstacles that want to stop you.

A great and effectual door is opened before you but there are many adversaries (1Cor.16:9)

As the husbandman who is growing to become the good and godly man, husband and father, there are many ungodly forces that want to hinder you. These include unclean spirits like adultery, lying, covetousness, uncontrolled appetite for food, sex and money, unforgiveness and so much more. These spirits are from satan, sin and the world, working to defile you and make you unfit to conduct yourself in ways that please God as the husbandman. It is for this reason that you must exercise the power of God against these ungodly forces to protect and remain the good and godly husbandman.

But for you to exercise the power and authority of God, through Jesus Christ, against unclean spirits, sicknesses, bondages, addictions, diseases and all forms of defilement, you must have a personal relationship with the One who gives power, Jesus Christ (Jn.3:3-7). This you do by repenting of your sins and asking Jesus Christ to come into your life to be your Lord and Personal saviour.

Secondly, you must be conscious of who you are in Christ. The Scriptures say that we are seated far above……..(Eph.1:21) You are seated with the Husbandman, Jesus Christ in heaven, far above principalities, powers and rulers of this world.

You are the man of authority and power. Take your rightful place in God through Jesus Christ and stay awake as the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, build my authority-consciousness as I lead myself, wife and children.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, endue me with the Spirit of power and authority from on high.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to exercise Your power against unclean spirits, sicknesses and diseases.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am seated with Jesus Christ far above unclean spirits, sickness and disease and I walk in this consciousness and exercise the power of God over them because that is what gives me victory to be and maintain my walk as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
