The perfect will of God for you as the husbandman is to have a quality relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. God wants you to maintain a walk of righteousness and holiness towards Him because that is your greatest treasure and that is the reason why He created you (Gen.3:1-4).
As the husbandman, God wants your spirit, soul and body to be in obedience to His commandments. God wants you to be a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him (Rom.12:1-2). God wants more of you in truth and in spirit.
What happens to me if I have a good and godly relationship with God through Jesus Christ?
When you have a quality walk with God, you become empowered to obey His commandments and admonition for you as the man, husband and father, joyfully and because you have the life of Christ in you, your thoughts, conduct and action will reflect the nature of Christ (2Cor.5:17).
Secondly, when you live your life like Jesus Christ, you are assured of a place in eternity. Not only will you end your journey on earth, you will also have a place in heaven with Jesus Christ.
But for you to live like Jesus Christ in truth and in spirit which shows in your thoughts, actions, conduct, and in all aspects of your life, you must have a quality relationship with God through Jesus Christ (Jn.3:3-7). What this means is that you must acknowledge your sins and confess them to God, repent of them and ask Jesus Christ to come into your life as your personal Lord and Saviour (2Cor.5:17, Ps.24:1-2).
Secondly, you must give attention to the word of God by studying the Bible and meditating on it with the intention to know more about Jesus Christ so that you can be like Him. (Ps.1:1-3, Jn.5:39, Jn.14:26, 2Tim.2:15). The more you study the Bible, the more you know the mind of Jesus Christ concerning your life as the husbandman. And as you think on what the word of God says about you; you notice a steady transformation in your life.
Thirdly, you must engage the forces of prayer and fasting in order to experience the reality of what God has said in His word in your life (Gal.4:19, Lk.18:1, Mk.9:29, Jn.15:3-5). Remember that the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. But when you pray and fast, you are empowered to do all that God commands (Philp.2:13).
Living like Jesus Christ as the husbandman is the perfect will of God for you. Therefore, take responsibility today and make a new commitment to live a life well pleasing to God through Jesus Christ by looking to Jesus Christ and following His footsteps.
