While we look not at the things which are seen but at the things which are not seen, for the things which are seen are temporal but the things which are not seen are eternal (2Cor.4:18)
Yesterday, by the help of the Person of the Holy Spirit, we began to look at the subject of faith how it is our greatest weapon that empowers the husbandman to live a good and godly life as the man, husband and father.
But how do I grow and develop my faith and trust in God and His word for a victorious life?
Faith is a spiritual seed that God inputs in you when you give your life to Him. So, the first step to developing the God-kind of faith is for you to give your life to Jesus Christ. Salvation is a spiritual decision a man takes. You have not seen God or Jesus Christ physically, but you believe Jesus Christ exists, and you are willing to repent of your sins and accept Him into your life as your Lord and personal saviour. That is faith!
The second step you must continually keep feeding the seed of faith in your heart with the word of God through studying and meditation. Your confidence in knowing that God can help you is rooted in your knowledge of Him. The more you know Jesus Christ, the more He reveals Himself to you (Jos.1:6-8, Phlip.3:10)
Thirdly, you must maintain a consistent and quality walk with the Person of the Holy Spirit because He is the One who inspires revelation from the pages of the Bible that gives you unusual faith in God (Ezk.2:2, Jn.14:26).
I went up by revelation……(Gal.2:2)
Fourthly, you must learn to speak in the language of the Spirit and keep declaring boldly what God has said in His word over any circumstances or issues of life.
He that speak in an unknown tongue speak mysteries……(1Cor.14:12)
Those negative and unpleasant happenings around your life and between you and your wife and children which you cannot explain can be tackled by the mysterious power of God through the Person of the Holy Ghost when you speak in tongues. I encourage you to speak in tongues as a lifestyle.
God wants you to live by faith and not by sight. He wants you to sow the love seeds to your wife by faith (1Cor.13:4-8). God wants you to nurture your children in the way and admonition of the Lord by faith (Eph.6:4). God wants you to relate with Him by faith (Heb.11:6). God wants you to lead your wife and children as the good and godly shepherd by faith and not by the circumstances around you or with them (Ps.23:1, Jn.10:1-3). That is what makes you the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the power of doubt, fear and discouragement.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of faith.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to walk by faith and not by sight as I lead.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am baptized with the spirit of faith, and I walk by faith and not by sight in all that I do and I over the circumstances and challenges of life because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
