Today’s teaching is to encourage the husbandman reading the devotional to hold onto the promises of God for his life as the man, husband and father, in view of the rising hopelessness on the earth and in marriages. I pray in the name of Jesus Christ, you shall hold onto to the word of God. Amen and amen.
And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. And being FULLY PERSUADED that what he had promised he was able to perform (Rom.4:19-21)
The word of God says that being fully persuaded God is able to perform what He promised. This is what God wants you to do. God wants you to be fully persuaded that no matter the challenges in your marriage and in your relationship with your wife or children, God’s plans for a glorious marriage remains unchanged. As the good and godly husbandman, you must never give up on yourself, your wife and children and your home. You must be fully persuaded that what God has said about them in His word is true and He will perform it, regardless of what is happening with and around them.
Jesus Christ, who is the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman is the person you must look to for inspiration and guidance. He lived joyfully with the twelve disciples despite each person manifesting different character traits. He did not give up on them nor abandon them. That is the mindset God wants you to have.
You must let your faith come alive to trust God to help you become the combination of the good and godly man, husband and father. You must be persuaded in your spirit that the word of God is true, and it always works because God’s promises are true and unchanged. Therefore, hold onto to what God has said in His word and let it inspire faith in your heart to run this race of becoming the good and godly husbandman.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from every satanic hold of discouragement, hopelessness, fear and doubt.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up a higher dimension of faith in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from every form of deceitfulness.
FAITH CONFESSION
I hold onto the word of God for my life as the man, husband and father and I am persuaded to engage the word as I walk the path to becoming the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
