EMPOWERED TO BECOME BY THE HOLY GHOST

One of the benefits of the Holy Ghost is empowerment and that is what you need to fulfill the covenant assignments of God in your life as husbandman.

But as many as received him, to them gave them power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.; which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man but of God. And the word was made flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (Jn.1:12-14)

The word of God says that they received power to become. That is the perfect will of God for the husbandman. God wants the husbandman to be good and godly. Unfortunately, many husbandmen are struggling and helpless. Many more have given up hope and concluded that nothing good and godly can happen to them and through them. This is why you need the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to become all that God wants you to be (Matt.26:41, Jn.15:5, Jn.14:26, Philp.2:13).

It is not by power nor by might but by the Spirit of God (Zech.4:6)

As the man, husband and father, you cannot become the good and godly husbandman by your strength, skill, and wisdom. You need the empowerment and help of the Person of the Holy Spirit because satan, sin and the world are higher forces working against your fulfillment of God’s will as the good and godly husbandman (Mic.3:8). But with the Holy Ghost at work in your life, you can become the good and godly husbandman.

But how do I access the power of the Holy Spirit to become the good and godly husbandman?

To access the power of the Holy Ghost in order for you to be fruitful as the husbandman, you must have and deepen your relationship with the Person of the Holy Ghost through Jesus Christ (Mic.3:8, Lk.10:19). Secondly, you must travail in prayer and fasting continually until the change you want to see in your life happens (Gal.4:19). You must walk by faith in the light of God’s word (Heb.11:6). Faith changes all things and it is the shield that makes you live a victorious life as the good and godly husbandman. Thirdly, you must be steadfast in your pursuit of what is good and godly as commanded by the word of God (Matt.6:22). You must search, study and meditate on the word of God until it dwells richly in you (Ezk.2:2).

God by the Holy Ghost has empowered you to be a fruitful vine. Therefore, be fruitful! Become the good and godly husbandman!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me by Your Spirit to be like You in all things.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to manifest the full authority of my headship over satan, sin and the world.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to obtain results as I lead and live as the good and godly husbandman.
