One of the principal weapons of warfare that guarantees victory for the husbandman is effectual fervent prayer. Prayer is an indispensable spiritual demand for every husbandman who wants to walk in dominion over the satan, sin and the world (Jn.10:10). This is why over the next two (2) days we shall be considering the power of a prevailing prayer and how you can be baptized with the spirit of grace and supplication. Hallelujah!
Let me begin by establishing two important discoveries I have made as the husbandman on the subject of prayers.
Firstly, I have come to discover that the fastest way to lose spiritual steam as the husbandman is to become a prayerless husbandman. Secondly, I have also discovered that the quickest way to gain strength that will help lead as the husbandman is through faith-filled prayers. What this means, therefore, is that you are either a prayerful husbandman or a prayerless husbandman. There is no middle ground. The choice is yours to make today.
Now what is the choice you must make today? It is the choice of prayer as commanded by Jesus Christ in Luke chapter 18.
And he (Jesus Christ) spake a parable unto them to this end, THAT MEN OUGHT ALWAYS TO PRAY, AND NOT FAINT. (Luke 18:1)
Jesus, who is the perfect example of how the husbandman should live, says that, if you don’t want to faint, you must be fired up in your prayer life. He says you must pray always. This means that prayer is the oxygen you need to live and it is the gateway to the answers to the challenges you are going through.
But what then is prayer? Let’s continue tomorrow.
Praise be unto Jesus Christ.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with the spirit of grace and supplication.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, teach me how to pray effectively and help me to pray according to Your will always.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the spirit of weariness, discouragement and doubt.

I keep my prayer altar burning continuously because it is my secret weapon to win over the challenges that confront me as the man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
