The perfect will of God for the husbandman is for him to conduct himself in an orderly manner, after the pattern of Jesus Christ. God wants the husbandman to reflect the image and likeness of Christ. God wants His word to be the final authority in the life of the husbandman.
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us. For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us, for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you (2Thess.3:6-7)
As the good and godly husbandman, you must allow the power in the word of God to influence your responses, conduct and action as the man, husband and father. You must learn to control your emotions, appetite and desires.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became a man, I put away childish things (1Cor.13:11)
Now, how do I walk after the perfect will of the word of God for me as the good and godly husbandman?
You must provide for yourself, wife and children and support those who are in need, by working with your hand, mind and soul to earn a living (1Tim.5:8, 2Thess.3:10). You must give honour to your wife because she is a joint heir with you in Christ (1Pet.3:7, Col.3:19, Eph.5:25, 1Cor.13:4-8). You must become the source of motivation, inspiration and encouragement to your wife and children in doing what is good and godly everywhere they go (Eph.6:4, Deut.6:4-8).
Therefore, commit to doing the perfect will of God for your life as the man, husband and father because it is the pathway to growing up into maturity as the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for living my life outside Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to bring my thoughts, emotions and responses under Your authority.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to live an orderly life by Your word.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am living my life by the principles of the word of God because that is what makes me live an orderly life as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
