PRAYER DIMENSION OF THE HUSBANDMAN (1)

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Mk.9:23, Jer.33:3, Lk.18:1, Gen.1:26-28, Philp.4:8, Heb.11:6, Gen.2:18-25, Jn.5:39, Gen.4:1, Jn.8:32, 1Thess.5:17

One of the greatest weapons God has given to the husbandman is prayer. Prayer is an indispensable weapon of warfare the husbandman must engage to bring to pass the perfect will of God for his life as the man, husband and father. There are satanic invincible forces that want to resist the husbandman from fulfilling his good and godly responsibilities to God, his wife and children. This is why God wants the husbandman to pray fervently not as a one-off act but as a lifestyle.

Men ought to always pray and not faint….(Lk.18:1)

Jesus Christ who is the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman says that you must pray always so that you do faint in your journey to becoming the good and godly husbandman. Therefore, over the next three days, we shall be examining the three dimensions of prayer you must focus your attention.

Today, the prayer focus is on you as the man.

Praying for yourself as the man empowers you to have a genuine relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is because as the man, God created you to have unhindered fellowship with Him through Jesus Christ, the same way He intended for the first man, Adam (Gen.2:14-15, Gen.3:1-9, Jn.3:4-9).

But why is this prayer important to me as the man?

Praying for yourself as the man helps you to remain rooted in deeper fellowship and communion with God through Jesus Christ. God made you for Himself and He desires sweet fellowship with you, hence when you pray and continue to pray for the purpose of God for your life as the man, you become empowered to always want to dwell in His presence.

Praying for yourself as the man also empowers you to overcome the tendencies of the flesh that easily besets the man (Matt.26:41). This includes lying, stealing, fear, doubt, adultery, and all forms of ungodliness.

Praying for yourself as the man also empowers you to continue to think, act and do what is true, lovely, honest and of good report (Ps.1:1-3, Philp.4:8).

Therefore, search the Scriptures and pray for the empowerment of the Holy Ghost to rest upon you so that you can live a holy life, enjoy a daily and sweet fellowship with God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit daily, walk in dominion over sin and become a productive man.

Hallelujah!
