One of the actions the spirit of Christ empowers you to do is to bless your wife and children and the land where you live or the organization where you work or the people you work with, rather than curse them.
Some months ago the Person of the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me. “The land you curse cannot bless you”. It was so strong in my heart that it reinforced my commitment to bless the land where I live, my wife, children so that I can eat the fruit therefrom and I am persuaded by the Person of the Holy Spirit to share with you the mystery of blessing.
If thou be willing and obedient, thou shall eat the good of the land (Is.1:19)
The word of God says you shall eat the good of the land if you obey and willingly do what is right from the word of God. And one of the right things you must do is to bless the land rather curse it. Your wife and children represent the land God has given to you (Gen.2:15-25, Eph.6:4, Col.3:19, 1Pet.3:7-9). God wants you to enjoy them because they good. Remember that your wife and children are gifts from God and every gift from God is good and perfect. And the way you can enjoy them is to bless them rather curse them.
But why should I bless my wife and children?
Firstly, God wants to enjoy your wife and children because they are treasures from God
Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also (Matt.6:21)
Secondly, your wife and children are given to you to enjoy. So they are not a burden to you but a blessing.
God has given us all things to enjoy (1Tim.6:17)
How do I become empowered to bless?
You become empowered to bless by the outworking of the Holy Ghost.
For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philp.1:19)
As the good and godly husbandman, it is the Person of the Holy Spirit that can empower you to operate at the level of declaring the blessings of God to your wife and children because He has the Spirit of Christ.
Therefore, call your wife and children and by faith in God bless them in this wise.
The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord makes His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you. The Lord lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Num.6:22-23)
And as you bless and not curse them, see what the Scripture says about you.
The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits (2Tim.2:6)
You shall be the first partaker of the fruits that will come from them.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the name of Jesus, forgive me for cursing my country, wife and children openly and in my heart.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower my tongue to speak graceful words secretly and openly concerning my wife and children and country.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to be a blessing to my wife, children and nation and make me eat the good in them.
FAITH CONFESSION
My wife, children and country are gifts from God and therefore, I bless them and not curse them because that is what makes me eat the good in them as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen
