Happy New Month! Welcome to the month of June 2025. I pray that the promises of God for your life as the man, husband and father shall find practical expression in your life in this new month resulting in ear tingling and fearful testimonies, in Jesus name. Amen.

Yesterday, we discovered from Scriptures by the inspiration of the Person of the Holy Spirit that the husbandman is a manager ordained by God to manage effectively God’s resources in his care. We also learnt that the resources God has committed into the hands of the husbandman to care and nurture are his wife and children, among other things.

Today, let us go further to understanding who the husbandman is as the good and godly manager of God’s resources.

For I (God) have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth because his sons made themselves vile and he restrained them not (1Sam.3:13)

The above Scripture tells us what God said to Eli, the Priest, when he did not put to good use the resource (his children) God gave to him.

What is the lesson therefore that you and I can learn? The lesson is that God doesn’t waste resources and so He wants you to use it profitably. So how do I make good use of the resources God has given to me?

The first thing to do is to understand the original plan of God for the resources he has given to you. A wise man once said that if purpose is not known abuse is inevitable.

Your wife also has been given to you by God for a purpose and that purpose is found in these Bible passages (Eph.5:25-29, 1Pet.3:7, Ecc.4:9-12). God has given you children because there is something He wants to achieve on the earth through them (Deut.6:6-8, Is.8:18, Ps.127:3-5). The finances, skills and gifts are given to you by God so that you can abound unto good works (Gen.12:2, 2Cor.9:5-11). I encourage you to please, study the word of God in these passages highlighted because it will help your understanding of the purposes why God has entrusted His resources in your care as the manager.

The second thing is that you must learn to travail in intercession by praying for the wisdom of God to rest upon you so that you can make good use of God’s resources in your care (Gal.4:19, Jas.1:5, Philp.2:13, Jn.14:26, Rom.9:16, Ecc.9:11). In Proverbs chapter 4, the Scripture says that wisdom is the principal thing (Pro.4:7). When the wisdom of God is at work in your life, you become empowered to learn and know how best to put your wife, children, finances, skills and gifts to good use bringing glory and praise to Jesus Christ.

The husbandman that laboureth shall be the first partaker of the fruits(2Tim.2:6)

And as you make good use of the resources God has given to you, you will be the first person to enjoy the fruits therefrom.

Hallelujah!
