Last week Sunday on Father’s day, I had the opportunity to share God’s word with God’s people and one of the things I said by the inspiration of the Person of the Holy Spirit is that every redeemed husbandman, that is a man, husband and father has a better covenant with God through Jesus Christ. And you can be that difference in the lives of your wife and children.
But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When He was hung on the Cross, He took upon Himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree (Gal.3:13)
As the husbandman and head of your family, you may have noticed in your family lineage some negative occurrences that have repeated themselves from one generation to the next. It may be in areas of finances, health, marriage, childbearing, education, job, and so much more, and you are afraid that you, your wife, and children may suffer the same satanic repetition of evil occurrences.
Fear not! I want to assure you that you have nothing to fear because you have a better covenant in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ has rescued you and your wife and children from the curse of the law. Jesus Christ died for you and I so that we can be free from the consequences of the negative actions or inactions of our forefathers. The Scripture offers this assurance to you from 2 Corinthians 5:17.
If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things have passed away, behold all things have become new (2Cor.5:17)
You are a new creature. You have a new lineage in Christ. You have a new family in Christ. You can recreate new and better ways for your life and the lives of your wife and children in every aspect.
If it took one man, Adam, to bring sin to the world, but it took One Man, Jesus, to destroy sin and its power, it will only require one man to bring a new way of living, and that is you.’

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the consciousness of who I am in Christ Jesus.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, let the reality of Your blessing be evident in my life and in my family.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make my new creation status a reality and help me to walk in it.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am seated with Jesus Christ, far above the curses of life, because that is where I belong and I bring my wife and children into that realm because I am the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
