I press on toward the goal unto the prize of the high calling of God in Christ….And I run toward the goal to take the victory of calling of God……..(Philp.3:14-15)
Praise God! Today is the last day of June 2025. It is also the last month in the first half of the year, 2025. To God alone we give all the glory for all He has done with us, for us, and through us.
Yesterday, we began to explore from Scriptures the covenant responsibility the husbandman has and must take in waking up from his spiritual slumber and pressing on to righteousness. The Word of God also encourages the husbandman not to give up in his walk of godliness, no matter the pressures from satan, sin, and the world.
As the husbandman who is committed to keep pressing towards the goal of your high calling as the good and godly man, husband and father, there are truths from the word of God that must dwell richly in your life. You must therefore resist and react against any falsehood or circumstance that is contrary to the perfect will of God for your life as the good and godly husbandman (Rom. 8:37, Eph. 6:12).
What is the truth from God’s word for me?
The truth is that as the good and godly husbandman, you must take personal responsibility towards pressing unto godliness and goodness.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached and EVERYMAN PRESSETH UNTO IT (Lk.16:16)
No one will take personal responsibility to press for your glorious destiny as the good and godly husbandman. Not your pastor, bishop, reverend, parents, government, relations, or friends can. You are the only person who can press towards the goal of the high calling God has set for you, working with the Person of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, arise and keep marching on as the husbandman and keep living the life of the good and godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower my faith to believe all things and never give up on You and Your word for my life as the man, husband and father.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, destroy every root of hopelessness, fear and discouragement in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pursue tirelessly Your perfect will for my life as the husbandman.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have faith, trust and hope in God and His word and I press towards the mark of the high calling to become a vessel of honour unto God because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
