Yesterday, we explored the heritage of the good and godly husbandman, as found in Scripture, which is walking in divine authority and power. Today, let us consider another inheritance of the good and godly husbandman. Divine Wisdom!
Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting, get understanding (Pro.4:7)
The perfect will of God for the good and godly husbandman is to walk in divine wisdom because it is and will always remain a profitable tool for him to succeed and be in command as the man, husband, and father. The husbandman needs divine wisdom as much as he needs food or clothes. This is because without the wisdom of God working in the life of the husbandman, he will be defeated, frustrated, and will struggle to be useful as the man, husband, and father.
But what is the wisdom of God?
The wisdom of God is searching to know the perfect will of God for your life, understanding what you have discovered and doing what you have discovered and understood. This means knowledge, understanding and action in the word of the Lord. The source of wisdom that is profitable to you is the one that comes from God through His word.
But who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy (Jas.3:13-17)
The wisdom from God is better than the wisdom of man and the world. The wisdom of God is enduring and profitable, and the Bible is the way to access God’s wisdom for your profit. Therefore, embrace the wisdom of God from the word of God for your profitable living as the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my life to You and to the influence of Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me understanding of Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to act on Your instructions and commandments and build me up in godly wisdom.
FAITH CONFESSION
I search the Scriptures to know and I have understanding by the Spirit of God and I am acting on what God’s word commands by the Holy Ghost because that is what establishes me in heaven’s order of wisdom as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
