PROPHECY “There is a husbandman, who is reading this devotional. You have walked away from Jesus Christ and now living in sin. God is saying to you to return to Jesus Christ. He will restore to you the your lost glory”
I will arise and go to my father and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee (Lk.15:18)
The Scripture in Luke chapter 15 tells us about the prodigal son and the actions he took while living a sinful life. The son realized that he had wronged his father. He discovered he had disobeyed and gone against the will of his father. Rather than remain in that sinful life, he arose and went back to his father, and his father restored him. That is what God wants you to do today.
Notwithstanding how far you think you have gone astray, God wants to restore you to a life of godliness, honour, dignity, and responsibility. God wants you to return to living a righteous life and doing what He commands you to do as the good and godly man, husband, and father. God doesn’t hate you; He only hates the sin and the sinful life you are living.
God’s love for you is unconditional (Jn.3:16). He loved you yesterday. He still loves you today, and He will continue to love you till eternity. His loving kindness is ever new (Lam.3:22-23). All you need to do is return to God through Jesus Christ, just like the prodigal son.
Therefore,
Awake to righteousness, and sin not, for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame (1Cor.15:34)
As you make your way right with God through Jesus Christ, you must be conscious of the whispers of satan, sin, and the world (Gen.3:1, Ps.29:1). These ungodly forces would want to remind you of your past failures and how unfit and messed up you are to return to Jesus Christ. But anytime satan reminds you of your past sinful life, you must counter it by reminding him of your new life in Christ Jesus. You must also keep pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your life until the voice of redemption overwhelms the noise of regrets satan, sin, and the world shows you (2Cor.5:17, Rev.12:11).
Today is the day of salvation. Awake to righteousness and return to God through repentance, and starting following after the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
Hallelujah!
