Thou art fairer than the children of men, grace is poured into thy lips, therefore God hath blessed thee forever (Ps.45:2)
As the good and godly husbandman, God has blessed you and His blessings cover your finances, health, fruitfulness of your body and the works of your hands, mental health, longevity, peace, joy, strength and agility, hope and faith (Gen.1:26-28). Your life is ordained for an unending progress and great accomplishments, and not for stagnation.
But there are important virtues you must have and continue to align yourself with in line with the Word of God to enjoy the blessings of the Lord Jesus Christ that make rich.
What are these virtues ?
And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of TRUTH and MEEKNESS and RIGHTEOUSNESS…… (Ps.45:4a)
From the Scripture, there are three spiritual demands that you must give yourself to if you want to ride prosperously as the good and godly husbandman.
The first is truthfulness. You must be truthful in all that you do in your giving to God, in your tithe and offering, in your office and with your business partners. You must not take advantage of the corrupt system to enrich yourself, either by changing contract figures or altering documents. You must speak the truth to all men, in all circumstances and at all times.
The second character you must seek if you want to enjoy the God kind of prosperity as the godly shepherd is meekness. As a matter of fact, if you are not humble in your heart before God, you cannot enjoy the grace of God that makes you have all things (2 Cor.9:8). Humility helps you to receive instructions and wisdom from God that will help you to manage your business, finances, health, relationships, career and much more.
The third is for you to live a holy and righteous life. You must learn to do what is right even when it is not convenient and no one is watching. You must be a promise keeper and be faithful to God, your wife, children, employer, employee, and country. You must let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify God in heaven… (Matt.5:14-16).
As the good and godly husbandman, you must keep these three virtues before you. You must deliberately pray to and work with the Person of the Holy Spirit to impart to you the attributes of meekness, truthfulness, and righteousness. Working and walking in meekness, truth, and righteousness leads you to the path of God-kind of prosperity.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I ask for the impartation of the spirit of meekness, truth and righteousness in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me a living example of a truthful, meek and righteous husbandman.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to live my life in truth and do what is right before You, my wife, children and in the market place of life.
FAITH CONFESSION
I have received the spirits of meekness, truth and righteousness from the Holy Ghost, because I want to live a prosperous life as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
