Did you know that learning is living, and continuous learning is power? Did you also know that you cannot give what you don’t have? Did you also know that it is what you have stored up in you that you display?
Now let us look at the Word of God to find out how powerful studying is to the growth, development and establishment of the husbandman, making him the good and godly shepherd, man, husband and father.
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim.2:15)
If you want to show yourself approved unto God in your thoughts, words, actions, conduct, responses and reactions, you must be influenced by the word of God. And that can only happen when you study the Bible for yourself with the Person of the Holy Spirit helping you (Jn.14:26). If you want to save yourself from shame and foolishness, then you must study and invest your money in buying anointed books.
If you must make progress in your walk with God as the good and godly husbandman, you must search and keep searching the Scriptures to learn. This means that the husbandman must be a lifelong student of the word of God, as well as other anointed books or tapes.
The Bible is God’s mind for you as the husbandman and God has also raised anointed vessels to teach His counsel to you. And to the glory of God, The Husbandman Mission International is one of the ministries ordained by God for that purpose. But you must delight in the law of the Lord if you must make the best of your calling as the husbandman (Ps.1:1-2).
But why must I study and delight myself in the law of the Lord?
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, deliver me from the spirit of laziness and slumber.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, baptize me with a diligent spirit to study the word of God-The Bible and other anointed materials.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus,open my eyes and ears as I study Your word and make me a doer of Your word.
FAITH CONFESSION
I give attention to studying the Bible which is the word of God and I obey all the laws of Scriptures for the office of the husbandman because that is what makes me the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

Now that you have read the devotional, it is very important for you to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
