Wherefore, my beloved, as all of you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings (Philippians 2:12-14)
Only God can help any husbandman become the good and godly man, husband and father. This is why the husbandman must continue to look to God for empowerment because becoming the good and godly husbandman is not by power or by might but by the Spirit of God (Zech.4:6).
God is the only Person who can empower you to do His good pleasure, which will give you the testimony of the good and godly man, husband, and father. Only God can help you submit to Him in all things, and only God can empower you to obey Him in all things. Only God can empower you to walk in love and live a life of righteousness and holiness.
How do I secure God’s help so that I can do His perfect will and become a good and godly husbandman?
You secure the help of God through the weapon of prayer (Lev.6:9, Jas.1:3-7).
Call unto me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that thou knowest not (Jer.33:3)
The prayer platform is the altar of empowerment. The prayer platform is the altar of engracement. Every change you want to see in your life can be conceived and birthed on the prayer altar. This is why you must pray without ceasing.
It takes much more than your physical strength to effect a change of character. You require spiritual empowerment to transform your life to become the good and godly man, husband and father, and make positive changes possible.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, make me an effectual praying husbandman.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to continue to connect to Your power to fulfill Your perfect will.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, help me not to be discouraged in praying for the needed changes that I desire to see in my life.
FAITH CONFESSION
I continue to stand in prayer, praying the perfect will of God’s to be done in my life and doing those things that please Him because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
