As we conclude this teaching series, there is an important question you must answer today, if you want to access the power that makes you the good and godly husbandman. Praise God!
Now that you know that God wants you to make choices based on His Word because it is the pathway to becoming the good and godly husbandman, how do you continue to make good and godly choices? This question will be answered in today’s teaching.
Wherefore, seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and sin which doth so easily beset us and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith……(Heb.12:1-2)
For you to continue to make good and godly choices as the husbandman, you must look to Jesus Christ as your model and learn at His feet by His Word, the same way an apprentice looks to his earthly master and learn from him.
Jesus Christ is the perfect example of the good and godly husbandman. He is your model and the example you must use to build your life as the good and godly man, husband and father. And He has given you His Word in the Bible to guide you because He, alone, is the truth, the way and the life. Therefore, looking to Jesus Christ and learning His ways so that you can be like Him is profitable to you as the husbandman (Jn.5:39, Acts 1:1, 2Cor.5:17, 2Tim.2:15).
But why must I learn at the feet of Jesus Christ and from His word?
Looking to Jesus Christ and learning at His feet empowers you to think, act and respond like Jesus Christ would.
Looking to Jesus Christ and learning at His feet makes your life a model of goodness and godliness to your wife, your children and other husbandmen.
Looking to Jesus Christ and learning at His feet also makes you to command the respect, honour and dignity from your wife and your children because of the good and godly fruits your life bears, which they can see.
God wants you to be like His Son, Jesus Christ. He wants you to reflect the image and likeness of Christ in your thoughts, conduct and actions. But you must make Jesus Christ your model and His Word your desire. That is the choice you must make today and everyday of your life as you lead yourself, your wife and your children.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, pour upon me the spirit of humility and obedience.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me a willing and a teachable spirit and help me to learn Your ways, Your truth and Your life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to trust You, Your word and Your instructions and help me to act them truthfully.
FAITH CONFESSION
I give myself to looking to and learning at the feet of Jesus Christ and in His word because that is what empowers me to be like Him and be victorious as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
