And he spake a parable unto them to this end that men ought always to pray and not to faint (Lk.18:1)
Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday on the subject of praying always without ceasing.
As the good and godly husbandman who wants to lead successfully, you must engage the weapon of prayer as an indispensable requirement. You must also understand that prayer is the foundation of your victory over the works of satan, sin and the world (Jn.10:10). Every time you pray, you are building the power base of your life to challenge every ungodly tendency in and around your family.
But what is prayer?
Prayer is a spiritual seed. When you pray, you are actually sowing seeds that go into the future to reshape the destinies and circumstances of your life as the man, husband and father (Is.45:2). Prayer is communion with God, Your heavenly Father (Is.1:18). Prayer is also the vehicle you use to carry all your challenges to God, through Jesus Christ (Matt.11:28).
God wants you to fulfill His perfect plans for your life as the good and godly husbandman and He has provided a channel through which you can reach Him to gain the power to succeed, and that platform is prayer (Jer.33:3, Philp.2:13).
What then happens when I become the husbandman who prays as a way of life? Firstly, you prevail over the circumstances of life. Secondly, you begin to do exploits that will bring glory and praise to Jesus Christ. Thirdly, you are able to set and reset on a constant basis your life so that it aligns with the perfect will of God. Fourthly, you become empowered to walk in the path of righteousness. But there are three things you must commit to doing first to enjoy the full benefits of effective communication with God through Jesus Christ.
The first is that you must be born again and have a relationship with Jesus Christ (Jn.3:2-5, 2Cor.5:17). The second is that you must give attention to the continued study of the word of God for yourself (Jn.5:39, Jn.8:32, 2Tim.2:15). The third is that you must walk by faith and not by sight (Matt.11:25-28, Heb.11:6).
Having uninterrupted communication with God through Jesus Christ is your lifeline to becoming the good and godly husbandman.

- Father, in the Name of Jesus, anoint my tongue for great exploits in my family
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, as I declare Your counsel over my wife and children, let it come to pass.

I give myself to praying to God through Jesus Christ as a lifestyle because that is what makes me to live and lead successfully as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

Now that you have read the devotional, it is very important for you to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.
Please, pray this prayer in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
