As the husbandman, you must walk by faith with works and not by sight to become the good and godly man, husband and father, in the face of challenges? Faith in God and in His word is an indispensable weapon of warfare that guarantees victory as you lead your life and the lives of your wife and children. But you must take personal responsibility to build your faith.
But ye beloved, building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost. Keep yourself in the love of God for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life (Jude 1:20-21)
The word of God says that you have the responsibility to build up your faith in God and in His word. This means that you will not become the good and godly husbandman by accident or by luck, but by taking personal responsibility in believing what God says about who you are as the good and godly man, husband, and father.
So, how do I build my faith by works in my walk to live as the good and godly husbandman?
But we all with an open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory , even as by the Spirit of the Lord (2Cor.3:18)
You build your faith with the weapon of the word of God. The more you look into the word of God for the things spoken concerning you as the man, husband and father, the more you are transformed into the image of Jesus Christ in your conduct, actions, thoughts and relationships with your wife and your children (Rom.12:1-2).
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write to you and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints (Jude 1:3)
You build your faith with the weapon of prayer and fasting. Engaging with the weapons of prayer and fasting gives you access to the power of God that empowers you to do the perfect will of God as the man, husband and father. You develop the virtues of faithfulness, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, loving-kindness, diligence, courage, holiness, giving, faithfulness, hope and joy.
The walk of faith is personal, and you require it to succeed in your roles as the godly man, husband and father.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for failing to take personal responsibility to obey Your commandments for my growth and development.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, guide me through Your Word to discover Your plans for me as the husbandman.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pursue with passion and dedication the mandate of the office of the godly husbandman.
FAITH CONFESSION
I take personal responsibility to build myself in the fullness of my calling as the husbandman because that is what makes me to function as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

Please, pray this prayer in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
