Today is the 10th day of the ongoing 70 days of fasting and prayer. It also marks the first phase of the prayer and fasting segment. There are 10 prayer and fasting segments focusing on 7 areas. To God alone we give all the glory for His grace upon every participant. I pray for supernatural strength for each one all through this spiritual expedition, resulting in all-around transformation, in Jesus name. Amen.

Now that you know you are a witness and an ambassador of Christ, there is an important virtue you must covet and live by. It is the spirit of faith.

The just shall live by faith……..( Hab.2:4)

The Scripture says that the justified shall live by faith. As the husbandman, God does not want you to have faith only in Him and His word; He also wants you to live by faith. God wants you to obey all the commandments and instructions in the word of God as they relate to what you must do as the good and godly man, husband, and father. The spirit of faith empowers you to fulfill the covenant assignments as the man, husband and father.

Why do I need to live by faith as the husbandman?

You require faith to stand in the place of prayers and intercession for yourself and for your wife and your children (Gal.4:19, 1Tim.5:8, 2Thess.3:10). You also require faith to please God (Heb.11:6).

What must I do to live by faith as the husbandman?

For you to live by faith in God and His word and triumph as the husbandman, you must invest your time in the word of God by studying it, thinking about what it says (Jos.1:6-8, Rom.10:17). The more you give attention to studying the word of God in seeking to know His plan for your life as the husbandman, the stronger you become in taking bold steps of faith to fulfill God’s perfect will as the man, husband and father.

You must also engage the weapon of prayer and fasting to build your inner confidence to believe what the word of God says that you have read and believed and the capacity to act upon it (Ezk.2:2, Mk.9:29, Lk.18:1). Praying the word of God into your life empowers your faith to obtain the promises of God for your calling as the husbandman.

Finally, you must keep confessing the word of God for your life as the good and godly man, husband and father regardless of the circumstances (Rom.10:10). This means that you must discipline your tongue to speak what God says and not what satan, sin, the world and your circumstance is saying.

If you live by faith in God and in His word and act upon the word of God boldly and confidently, you will live a victorious life and fulfill God’s mandate on your life as the good and godly man, husband and father.

Hallelujah!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, open my heart to Your words and help me to receive Your instructions with gladness.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, pour upon me a greater measure of the Spirit of faith as I lead as the man, husband and father.
  • Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to discipline my tongue so that I will only be speaking what You say and not what I see.

FAITH CONFESSION

I have the word of God in me and I believe the word of God and I take bold steps of faith as the man, husband and father because that is what empowers me to become the good and godly husbandman in Jesus Name. Amen.
