DAY 13 of FASTING AND PRAYER

Praise God! This is the day that the Lord has made. Merry Christmas to everyone, and may this season of the celebration of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ bring us closer and deeper to the saving knowledge of Christ’s birth.
As the good and godly husbandman, God wants you to increase in the knowledge of His word because His word is new every day.
And if any man thinks that he knoweth anything, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know (1Cor.8:2)
The secret to unending growth for you as the good and godly man, husband and father is continuous learning. There are instructions God has given in His word, the Bible, which are designed to make you become the good and godly husbandman. The more you search the Scriptures, the more you discover the mind of God for your life. Whatever knowledge you think you have now cannot be compared to what you are yet to find out from the word of God. There is still so much more that you are yet to know.
Search the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life, and they are they which testify of me (Jn.5:39)
As the good and godly husbandman who wants to grow, develop and expand his leadership space, you must continue to evaluate your knowledge base. You must learn, unlearn and relearn. You must continue to seek new ways of improving your leadership qualities of compassion, empathy, forgiveness, kindness, mercy, protection, provision, guidance, courage, and so much more.
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:4-10,13-14)
Let the above Scripture in Philippians chapter 3, be your firm commitment today and always. Whatever you think you know now cannot be compared to what you do not know and have not yet discovered in the word of God. There are new insights and truths you can get from the word of God that will help you become better. And as you discover new truth from the word of God and practice it, you move up the ladder in your leadership role as the good and godly man, husband and father.
Therefore, develop a never-ending search of God’s word. It is the pathway for your growth and development as the good and godly husbandman.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, destroy the power of pride and arrogance in my life and fill me with the Spirit of grace and humility
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to continue to search the Scriptures to know Your perfect will for me as the husbandman.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to do Your perfect will at all times.
FAITH CONFESSION
I keep searching the Bible, I keep knowing the truth and I keep practicing what God commands me to do because that is what makes me grow to becoming the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.

Please, pray this prayer in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
