DAY 23 of FASTING AND PRAYER

Yesterday, we began to explore from the word of God the perfect will of God for the husbandman, and we discovered that God wants him to grow and be mature in the things of the spirit. God is perfect, so you can be perfect (Gen.17:1, Matt.5:40-48).
One of the responsibilities you must take upon yourself to maintain your spiritual maturity is to keep renewing your mind with the word of God.
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind (Eph.4:23)
Until the man on the inside is renewed, the man on the outside cannot be better. This means that every good and godly change the husbandman wants to see happen in his life as the man, husband and father must first start with the renewing of his mind and thought life (Rom.12:1-2). Once the mind is captured and subjected to the power of God’s word, the husbandman is in control of his conduct, actions, responses, and reactions.
And be not conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Rom.12:2)
Renewing your mind is what empowers you to grow, spiritually. That is how powerful the quality of your mind affects the quality of your life.
For you to renew the spirit of your mind, you must search the Scriptures diligently; you must think on what God has said from His word (Philp.4:8, Rom.5:5, Ps.1:1). You must pray into your life the truth of Scriptures your have meditated on (Mk.9:29, Gal.4:19, Philp.2:13). You must constantly engage the Person of the Holy Spirit to help your understanding and seal the seed of God’s word in your heart so you can bear fruits (Mk.9:23, Acts 2:1-4, Jn.14:26, Eph.5:22).
The spirit of your mind is the birthplace of your outward life. The word of God is the right food your mind needs to influence your outward conduct and actions that make you the good and godly man, husband and father. Therefore, guard your mind with all diligence and feed it abundantly with the word of God.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, open my eyes to see and my ears to hear the areas where I need to grow up.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, show me the way to go by Your word.
- Father, in the name of Jesus, empower me to renew my mind with Your word and make me live Your perfect will.
FAITH CONFESSION
I renew the spirit of my mind by the word of God because that is what influences my actions and conduct and makes me to function as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

Please, pray this prayer in faith.
Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
