DAY 50 of FASTING AND PRAYER

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints (Eph.6:18)
Yesterday, we discovered from Scripture that praying as a lifestyle is the husbandman’s greatest spiritual attitude he must develop and maintain if he wants to remain relevant and useful in his journey as the good and godly man, husband, and father. Prayer is like the air he breathes. It is the oxygen that gives life to the ministry of the husbandman.
As the good and godly husbandman, how do I pray effectively and get answers from God through Jesus Christ?
One very important foundation you need to pray rightly and get answers from God is the Word of God.
Study to show thyself approved as a workman unto God that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2Tim.2:15)
When you pray, you must pray with the word of God. This is why you must study the word of God as a lifestyle so you know the mind of God and pray according to His perfect will.
Another important demand from you that will make you access the power of God for a victorious life is walking in the fear and admonition of the Lord. After you are born again, you must ensure that you do only those things that will please God and bring honour to Him (Jn.3:3-5, Ps.24:1-2, 2Cor.5:17).
Finally, you must walk by faith in God and be hopeful in His word (Heb.10:35, Heb.11:2). God answers prayers when you call but you must believe in Him (Heb.11:6).
There is a fierce battle raging against the husbandman. Satan, sin and the world are contending against the husbandman’s design to become good and godly (Jn.10:10). But only the empowerment of the Holy Ghost, which comes from the prayer altar, can give the husbandman victory over the ungodly forces.
The power of God is what you need to do the perfect will of God as the good and godly man, husband and father (Philp.2:13). This is why you must pray without ceasing and praying always in all supplications.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, pour upon me the spirit of grace and supplication.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, stir up a prayer revival in my life.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to pray aright and give me victory over the works of satan, sin and the world.
FAITH CONFESSION
I am praying always and without ceasing, using the word of God as my foundation that is the empowerment I need to lead as the good and godly man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.

Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
