DAY 56 of FASTING AND PRAYER

Wisdom is the principal thing, therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting, get understanding (Pro.4:7)
The wisdom of God is and will always remain a profitable tool for the husbandman. The husbandman needs divine wisdom as much as he needs food or clothes. Without the wisdom of God, the husbandman will be defeated, frustrated, and will struggle to be useful as the man, husband and father.
But what is the wisdom of God?
The wisdom of God is searching to know the perfect will of God for your life, understanding what you have discovered and doing what you have discovered and understood. This means knowledge, understanding and acting on the word of God. The source of wisdom that is profitable to you is the one that comes from God through His word.
But who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? Let him show out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom. But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. This wisdom descendeth not from above but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy (Jas.3:13-17)
As the husbandman, doing what the Word of God commands is the key to your winning as the good and godly man, husband and father. The wisdom of God makes you to bear the fruits of the spirit of mercy, kindness, patience, compassion, forgiveness, hope, faith, joy, and empowers you to keep living in peace and joy with your wife and your children (Gal.5:22-24). But any action you take that leads to live in strife, envy, bitterness, hatred, malice, and all forms of ungodliness is not the wisdom that wins and it is from the devil.
The wisdom from God is better than the wisdom of man. The wisdom of God always wins, and it is profitable. The Bible contains God’s wisdom for your profit. Therefore, search the Scriptures to know God’s perfect will for your life and do all that God commands you to do. That is the wisdom that wins.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, I surrender my life to You and to the influence of Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, give me understanding of Your word.
- Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to act on Your instructions and commandments and build me up in godly wisdom.
FAITH CONFESSION
I search the Scriptures to know, and I have understanding by the Spirit of God. I am acting on what God has commanded by the help of the Person of the Holy Ghost because that is what establishes me in heaven’s order of wisdom as the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.
