WHAT CAN YOU SEE?

DAY 65 of FASTING AND PRAYER

I discovered a wisdom key from the Word several years ago, which has helped me to want to continue seeking to know so I can keep growing and developing to become the good and godly husbandman. What is that wisdom key? It is vision, what I can see about myself, my wife, and my children. Now what can you see?

Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying Jeremiah, WHAT SEEST THOU? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast well seen for I will hasten my word to perform it. (Jer.1:11-12) KJV

There is a plan and purpose for which God made you the husbandman. If you do not see God’s plans, you will be unable to make the most of your role as the man, husband and father. And just like God asked Jeremiah, He is also asking you, what can you see about your life as the husbandman, your marriage, your home, your wife and your children?

But how powerful is the picture I see from Scriptures about myself, my wife and my children?

What you see from the Word of God about yourself, your wife and your children empowers you to lead successfully, regardless of the challenges that come with being a leader.

What you see, that is vision, gives meaning and value to your existence as the husbandman. It is the motivation you will always need to remain on course in the pursuit of God’s perfect plan for your life.

The picture of what you see about your future as the man, husband and father, empowers, inspires, and motivates you to keep pressing on until the vision of who God says you are from His word becomes your reality as the good and godly husbandman.

The word of God is the authentic source of what you can see about yourself as the good and godly husbandman. What you must do and continue to do is to search and continue to search the Scriptures, meditate on them, and allow the picture to be firmly rooted in your heart and mind (Jn.5:39, Rom.12:1-2, Gal.4:19).

Can you see yourself as the good and godly man, husband and father? Yes, you can!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, open my inner eyes to see Your glorious plans from Your word for me as the man, husband and father.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to run with the vision from Your word for my life.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me with the spirit of faith and boldness and help me to see the fulfillment of Your glorious plans for my life.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am filled with the vision of God for my life as the man, husband and father and I run with the vision with diligence and commitment, notwithstanding the challenges because that is what makes me the good and godly husbandman in Jesus name. Amen.

Now that you have read the devotional, it is very important for you to have a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is the first step in your walk of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Please, pray this prayer in faith.

Lord, Jesus, I come to you today, just as I am. I acknowledge that I have fallen short of Your glory. I ask for Your forgiveness of my sins today. I invite You into my life to be my Lord and Saviour. Thank You for saving my life.
