GIVE JESUS CHRIST YOUR HEART!

Spread the love

Bible Texts: Pro.23:26, Ps.119:11, Matt.15:18-20, Jn.15:5, Mk.7:6, Heb.10:22, Rom.12:1-3, Pro.4:19-24, Matt.5:14-16, Philp.2:13, Gal.4:19

My son, give me thine heart and let thine eyes observe my ways (Pr.23:26)

As the husbandman, you are a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God (Rom.12:1-3). God is interested in you and wants you to give Him your heart. God wants you to give Him your heart because the quality of your heart influences the quality of your life, and that is what makes you the good and godly husbandman.

But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things that defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man (Matt.15:18-20)

Your heart is the seat where your thoughts are formed, and actions are decided. If your heart is right, your conduct will also be right because out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

But why does God want me to give Him my heart?

God wants your heart so He can empower you to have self-control over your emotions and desires. God wants your heart so He can whisper His wisdom to you, thereby helping you to respond to the issues of life as the man, husband and father with wisdom, power and authority. God wants your heart so He can clean you up from every form of filthiness sitting in your heart and manifesting in your life.

As the husbandman, you cannot be better than the quality of your heart. If your heart is subject to the influences of the word of God, your life will reflect the fruit of the word of God in your actions and conduct.

Therefore, give God your heart so He will help you reorder your thoughts according to His words and perfect will, thereby making you the good and godly man, husband, and father to yourself, your wife, your children, and in the marketplace.

Hallelujah!
