FREEDOM IS POSSIBLE

But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride, and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the Lord’s flock is carried away captive. Jer.13:17. Every time I study Jer.13:17, I am gripped with awe of the wonders of my heritage as the shepherd of my sheep. The scenario painted in Jer.13:17 is typical of what is happening in many sheepfolds today. The sheep have been held captive by the force of alcohol, uncontrolled appetite, drugs, gangsterism, cultism, prostitution, ungodliness and much more. Notwithstanding, the shepherd is expected to be in charge and rescue his sheep. As the head of your family, so much is expected from you and so much has been committed into our hands. To be the godly husband is the best platform to influence your sheep and demonstrate the true nature of God to them.

It is unrighteous for your wife or children to be held in bondage by the power of immorality, drugs, fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, covetousness, malice, filthy communication and much more (Col.3:5-8). Every time any of your sheep is held bond, God feels hurt. God is unhappy when your wife cannot enjoy good health. God is not pleased when your wife cannot give you a child. God is never happy when your children become wayward in their ways. It will amaze you that God weeps anytime there is no peace in your home. This is why you must rise up and rescue your wife and children from the bond master-satan. Why are you the deliverer? Because Jesus Christ, the perfect example of the good and godly husband has given you the power. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Lk.10:19).  Jesus Christ says that you have been given power to overcome. By this singular authority, you can revive that lost friendship you once had with your wife and children, break the power of sin in their lives and keep the devil forever away from their lives. But how do I get this assignment done as the head of the family? Firstly, by exercising your authority in Christ Jesus. God has put inside of your authority and power to speak against those ungodly attitudes that your wife and children are displaying. God has empowered you to stop the mouth of the lion from devouring the health and joy of your wife and children. If you don’t exercise this authority, satan will continue to hold your sheep in bondage. Secondly, you must awaken your relationship with the Holy Spirit. The deeper your relationship with the Person of the Holy Spirit, the greater your depth of revelation that will put you in command of the affairs of your sheepfold. Now is the time for you to act. Give it all you can to make them all they can be in Jesus Christ.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I receive power from You and Your word to rescue my sheep from satan.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I declare the liberty of my wife and children from all satanic influences.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, I take command and authority over the affairs of my sheep and sheepfold.

FAITH CONFESSION

I engage all the forces of heaven to deliver my wife and children from every satanic bondage because I am sent to them as a deliverer in Jesus name. Amen.
