MASTER KEYS TO VICTORY (2)

Spread the love

Main Scriptures: Romans 12:11-16

More Scriptures: 1Thess.5:18, Phil.4:6, Ps.100:4

Yesterday, husbands were encouraged to rejoice in the face of unpleasant circumstances. Today, the Holy Spirit is handing over to you some other keys. Patience and not Agitation. Patience is very critical in the management of life’s challenges. What naturally follows when we are faced with trial is that we become impatient and agitated. As the head of the family, patience is very critical. Patience is the inner confidence that keeps you steady despite the circumstances around you. Patience empowers faith. It is the anchor that keeps your eyes on God. It is what helps you to judge God faithful.

Another key is Consistent in Prayers. The time to pray more is when everything seems lost and all doors appear closed. It is in times like these that you intensify your prayer life, notwithstanding the fact that you may have prayed over the issue in the past and believed that it will be answered before the due time. Keep praying until something happens. Don’t lift up your hands in surrender and in defeat. Rear up an intensive fervent prayer altar- pray more and pray even more (Lk.18:1).

The next key is Giving. It is in your moment of emptiness that you give. It is in that period when you are struggling to eat or drink that you give to other people. No matter the challenges that you are being confronted with, you must maintain the attitude of giving both of your time and materials, however small it may be. Giving connects you to the limitless power of God that makes all grace abound unto you so that after having all sufficiency, you will also abound unto every good works. The worst thing you could do to yourself in your down moment is not to give. I have come face to face with challenges that I never imagined would come my way. These challenges tested my faith and tried my heart. I couldn’t share them with anyone but God. In all these trials, I had to learn to go back to God, my Father, to help me. And as He led me through His word, He brought me to these verses of Scriptures in Romans chapter 12 which formed the basis for this teaching since yesterday. Through the help of the Person of the Holy Spirit, my eyes opened to these truths and as I commit myself to the demands, I began to notice remarkable changes in my life and in my walk with God, my Father. My earnest prayer is to live these principles all the days of my life. And that is why I want you to partake of it.

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

  • Father, by Your Spirit, empower my spirit to imagine great and mighty things about my life
  • Father, by Your Spirit, enlarge my heart to embrace giving as a requirement in my walk with You
  • Father, by the blood of Jesus Christ, deliver me from every weariness of the heart.

FAITH CONFESSION

I win over the challenges and obstacles in my life by the help of God so that I can become a good and godly husband to my wife and children in Jesus name. Amen.
