Have you ever seen a measuring scale before, especially the ones that have two platforms? Well, if you have not, let me show you something that the Person of the Holy Spirit taught me as a husband.

Take at a look at the table above and score yourself, sincerely. Where do you fit in? Which fruits are you bearing? Are they fruits of the Spirit of God or works of the flesh?
Now what the Person of the Holy Spirit wants you to understand is that the force of love is greater than the force of hate. The force of love can override the influences of bitterness. Do you know why? Because God is love (1Jn.4:16). And because darkness will always bow at the gates of light, you must open your heart for the Spirit of love to gain access so that when your wife and children offend you, you can say with assurance in your heart that the LOVE OF GOD IN MY HEART IS SUPERIOR TO THE OFFER OF HATE by the devil.
SPIRITUAL EXERCISE
- Father, by Your Spirit, fill my heart richly with Your love.
- Father, by Your Spirit, empower me to extend Your love to my wife and children.
- Father, by the blood of Jesus Christ, deliver me from the force of hate and bitterness.
FAITH CONFESSION
I saturate my heart with the virtues of the love of Christ because it is my cover to becoming a good and godly husband to my wife and children in Jesus name. Amen.
