BUILDING YOUR LIFE AND HOME ON JESUS CHRIST

Let me begin by telling you that as the husbandman, you have the covenant responsibility to build your life and your home on the foundation of Jesus Christ. Your leadership is to ensure that you keep your life and home away from the influences and assaults of satan, sin and the world (Jn.10:10). And you can succeed in doing that through the knowledge, person and power of Jesus Christ.

And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matt.16:18)

Building your life and home on Jesus Christ is the security you have against the attacks of satan, sin and the world. And when Jesus Christ becomes your foundation, you will not be moved whenever the challenges of life show up. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life. The way to go, the truth you need and the life you desire as the good and godly husbandman is in Jesus Christ. Having Him in your life and in your home guarantees righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Now, there is one principal way to build your life and home in Jesus Christ. And that is by the word of God. As the good and godly husbandman you need the word of God inside of you to build your life and to build your home (Jn.5:39, Jn.15:5, Philp.2:13). The word of God does not only build, it also sustains.

But for you to build on Jesus Christ, you must have a personal relationship with Him and spend time with the word of God (Ps.1:1-3, Pro.4:20-23, Jn.3:3-7, 2Tim.2:15). Time investment in fellowshipping with the word of God through studying and meditating is what builds your person to lead as the good and godly husbandman.There is the word from Jesus Christ for you as the man, husband and father. Search the Scriptures and you will find it. Act on the word of God, it will make you.

As you take in God’s word into your spirit man and engage with it by doing all that the word commands you to do, you will experience transformation which will turn you into the good and godly man, husband and father.

As the good and godly husbandman, all other foundation will fail but the foundation of Jesus Christ stands sure. Start today on Jesus Christ. Start building your life and home on Him. You can never be wrong with Jesus Christ. Praise be unto Jesus Christ our Lord!

SPIRITUAL EXERCISE

• Father, in the Name of Jesus, forgive me for building my life and home on other foundation outside Jesus Christ.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, empower me to receive Your engrafted truths into my spirit and help me to live by it.
• Father, in the Name of Jesus, let the words You will teach me build me up and my home, too.

FAITH CONFESSION

I am building my life and home on the foundation of Jesus Christ because it is my security and assurance to becoming the fruitful man, husband and father in Jesus name. Amen.
